This afternoon I received the link for the stream of the service.  It will take place tomorrow, 5 January 2024, at 11 AM UK, on Microsoft Teams.  There may be a small delay getting in as virtual attendees need to be approved manually.  Here is the link:

Margaret, do you know if this will be offered on You Tube later? I’m going to try to sign on at 3 a.m. from Western Canada, my brain is willing but not sure if the body is.
    Hugs to you.

      Hi Lynne.
Yes, a recording is planned. The stream is on the Microsoft Teams platform which I am not very familiar with. I’ll get the details from the venue on how to access the recording and add it here.

My brain DID wake me up at 2:45 am and I joined the live group. Such a nice tribute for him and his accomplishments.
        Thank you.

So sorry but 12-digit ID was rejected & access was repeatedly forbidden – I do hope the Celebration was indeed just that, & perhaps if it’s available online for a few more days there’ll be another chance to watch it. As it is my thoughts are with you – love, Deb

Hi Margaret, the pixies lined up & I was able to join the meeting in the end. What a positive celebration of a lovely man. Love, Deb

    Dear Margaret,

I am so sorry for your loss. I was able to visit the blog today for the first time in quite a while, and was shocked to find that Gordon had passed. I did not know about the leukaemia.

His wonderful humour, lovely writing, and knitting were such a bright spot, and cheered me when facing very difficult times of life, such as sudden loss. He will be much missed.

I pray that you will find comfort.
